We offer a salary from £29,312 - £36,641 per annum dependant on experience. This salary range will increase by 4.5% from 1st April.

Where Id work: Bradford/Hybrid Working a mix of working from home and in the office at Bradford. There will also be some travel expected around the Yorkshire region as part of the role.
Work type: Permanent role, working full time, 37 hours per week, Monday Friday between a working window of 8:00am-6:00pm. On occasions, you may be expected to work on an evening or a weekend as part of the role .

Where you fit in?
In this role you will engage with customers affected by our capital programme making sure we champion the customer in all capital projects. You will develop engaging communications plans for capital schemes with support from the lead advisor. You will ensure capital sites have engaging signage to explain the work were doing to the general public. You will work with stakeholders and community groups so theyre engaged with the work were doing and understand the benefits, this could be setting up and co-ordinating event stands, face-to face activity in the communities and other planned activity.
You will develop an understanding of all disciplines of communication media/social/internal/brand/digital/stakeholder/engagement and customer and support day-to-day customer communications, linking in with the capital customer experience team, to ensure great communication is prioritised and delivered as the norm.
What skills & qualifications are we looking for?
Previous experience of working as part of a community engagement team, or within a communications role or working closely with customers
Experience of presenting to small or large groups of people
Experience of working with multiple stakeholders internally and externally to co-ordinate engagement programmes
Strong communication skills
Great interpersonal skills, able to build up good working relationships with a range of key stakeholders
Strong time management skills
Ability to deliver excellent customer service
A full driving licence, with no more than 6 points
Proficient in the use of IT, with experience of Microsoft Office software
