My client in the Southampton area is looking for an Admin Assistant due to expansion.

The Role
Your key responsibilities will include:
1. General administrative tasks including, but not limited to, typing and distributing letters, answering calls, photocopying, and scanning.
2. Assisting with duties of Reception and Admin Supervisor when required (including welcoming visitors).
3. Completing timesheets accurately on a daily basis.
4. Postal responsibilities including daily scanning and booking of post, opening of mail.
5. Payroll responsibilities including payroll checks and daily filing of documents using Iris software.
6. Archiving and maintaining the archive database.
7. Processing of in-house forms.
8. Banking when required.

About You
1. GCSEs in Maths and English at Grade 5/C or above.
2. While it is not required, previous experience working in a similar role would be advantageous.
3. Proficient in MS Office/365 applications, specifically Excel, and able to pick up new IT software very quickly.
4. Good written and verbal communication.
5. Have a proactive can-do attitude and the ability to effectively manage workload and prioritise tasks.
6. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, with good organisational skills.
7. Approachable and friendly with the ability to work as part of a team and be self-motivated when working independently.
8. Driving license essential.
This is a permanent part-time role working 30 hours per week. Hours cover: 8:30am-5:15pm (Monday, Wednesday, Thursday) and 8:30-4pm (Friday).
Location: Southampton
Salary: £24,000
