Summary
The successful candidate will lead Clothing and Home FP&A by providing guidance and direction through planning, insight and analysis working with Finance colleagues across the business in Logistics, Retail, Property, Marketing Data & Digital and Technology.
The role requires the individual to demonstrate a commercial mindset and awareness, an understanding of how the business unit operates, including the challenges, opportunities and risks that it faces. Working with multiple stakeholders (Finance & non-Finance), the role will ensure current and future performance is understood and communicated effectively.
To stay close to customers, our support teams are in the office three days a week as we believe that skills are developed through collaboration, and that spending time together makes us more creative and connected.
What you'll do
Your key accountabilities will include:
* Full ownership of the planning cycle including regular forecasting, annual Budget and longer-term planning across the whole of Clothing & Home. Leading Finance transformation for Clothing & Home in data, analytics, and reporting.
* Lead on business and financial planning processes, including Strategic Integrated Business planning. Full accountability of financial reporting including period end close and key performance indicators.
* Responsibility for the Investor Relations materials to support the Clothing & Home narrative.
* Work alongside Strategy and Customer Insights in developing and integrating the Market, Customer and Product strategies.
* Developing talent in Clothing & Home Finance including leading a team of six and driving continuous improvement in financial leadership and direction for the business unit.
Who you are
Your skills and experience will include:
* Qualified Accountant.
* Experience with budgeting, forecasting, business appraisal and analysis, and an understanding of governance and controls.
* Effectively led change and transformation.
* Can communicate with impact to senior management, business partners and wider finance teams.
* Experience leading and developing a team.
