We are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Service Engineer to service and maintain fire and security systems across North Yorkshire. If you have a strong background in fire alarm and security system servicing, we encourage you to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Service and test fire alarm and security systems in line with industry standards.
2. Ensure all installations and maintenance work comply with BS5839, BS4737, and other relevant fire & security regulations.
3. Diagnose and resolve technical faults efficiently, ensuring systems remain fully operational.
4. Complete necessary documentation (commissioning certificates, reports, timesheets) in line with industry and NSI requirements.
5. Maintain compliance with Health & Safety regulations and company policies.
Required Skills & Experience:
1. Proven experience in servicing for fire alarm and security systems.
2. Strong knowledge of BS5839, BS4737, and best practices in fire & security system servicing.
3. Ability to work independently, manage projects effectively, and deliver excellent customer service.
4. Full clean driving licence and willingness to travel within North Yorkshire.
5. Experience with networked or addressable fire alarm and security systems.
6. Familiarity with leading fire & security brands and integration methods.
7. Previous experience in a client-facing role, delivering training and support.
