🧠About the Role
As a Marine Survey Advisor, you’ll play a vital part in the successful execution of offshore survey and construction support projects. You’ll work across departments to ensure technical readiness, operational efficiency, and alignment with project goals — delivering the quality and precision that Next Geosolutions is known for.
đź“Š Reporting Structure
* Reports to: Technical Manager
* Collaborates with:
* Project Manager (PM)
* Asset & Mobilisation Manager
* QHSE Team
🛠️ Key Responsibilities
* Support PM and Operations throughout project execution.
* Review and confirm operational resources (personnel, equipment/software) as outlined during bidding.
* Draft and maintain clear, accurate project procedures.
* Ensure subcontractor equipment and sensors meet contractual requirements.
* Collaborate with the Asset & Mobilisation team on mobilisation planning and execution, including pole/GA/welding operations, providing engineering support as needed.
* Attend client and internal technical meetings.
* Contribute technical insights to the Commercial team, including proposals, alternative solutions, and line plans aligned with client specifications.
🎓 What You Bring
* Experience in similar offshore roles (e.g., positioning, ROV, ROTV, geophysical surveys, construction support).
* Strong technical background in survey or engineering disciplines.
* Fluent English (written and spoken).
* A proactive, team-oriented mindset with the ability to operate in fast-paced project environments.
