Job Description:
Our client is a friendly, family-run, award-winning, professional conveyancing legal practice, with the infrastructure and working benefits of a large corporate organisation.
The Role
Due to their continued success and increased demand, they are looking to recruit experienced residential conveyancers to join their team. Working within a small cohort, led by a Conveyancing Manager supported by a conveyancing assistant and their background teams, you will manage your client caseload in a timely manner through the conveyancing process to ensure that the best interests of the client, mortgage lender, and employer are adequately protected in line with professional standards and internal quality requirements. This will be achieved by delivering exceptional client service, following internal conveyancing protocols, and achieving monthly individual and team KPIs.
On a daily basis this will involve:
1. Dealing effectively with clients and introducers both over the telephone and in email to provide advice and assistance to them in relation to residential property matters in accordance with Company protocol using a bespoke CMS system.
2. Accurately forecasting monthly exchanges and completions in line with Company requirements to ensure cases are completed on a timely and cost-effective basis and in accordance with professional standards and internal quality requirements.
3. Continuously achieving individual and team targets in relation to customer service, number of exchanges, timelines, and average fees.
4. Working effectively with colleagues in background teams and our introducers to ensure a positive experience for all clients and to secure their ongoing commercial relationships.
The Rewards
Working for this award-winning organisation will give you a rewarding career with a competitive salary and monthly payments for the achievement of targets. In addition to being part of a Company that will support you through their training and well-being programmes and recognition schemes, they offer a substantial benefits provision. This includes flexibility in working arrangements, company sick pay, discount schemes, and the ability to purchase additional leave. They also feel birthdays are to be celebrated, so you will receive an additional leave day in the month of your birthday.
The Individual
To be successful in the recruitment process, you will need to evidence the following in your CV:
1. Technical legal knowledge of land law and the conveyancing process.
2. Demonstrable conveyancing experience including both freehold and leasehold titles.
3. Previous experience of managing your own caseload in a fee-earning role, ideally in a volume conveyancing practice.
4. Ability to work in a targeted environment and continuously deliver against agreed KPIs and targets.
5. Exceptional customer service and relationship-building experience.
6. Proficiency with CMS systems and willingness to learn and adapt to new systems.
