The Opportunity
We are looking for a reliable and skilled facilities maintenance operative to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. This role also requires troubleshooting and resolving issues to ensure the smooth operation of Stadium and Hotel, carrying out planned preventative maintenance and reactive tasks.

Key Responsibilities
To support our ambitions to achieve continued growth in Facilities we are looking for an experienced Maintenance Operative - you will be responsible for:
* Complete routine PPM tasks
* Ensure the Hotel is maintained to brand standards
* Assist with reactive work requests from customers, front of house, managers.
* Carry out industrial cleaning to external areas.
* Carry out fire alarm tests, emergency light tests, refuge point checks etc
* Carry out basic joinery work
* To attend the maintenance requests during matchdays such as leaks, remedial works, plant equipment faults etc
* To assist reviewing of the stadium facilities, Pre & post-game and implement appropriate remedial works
* Assist with general grounds work, manual excavation,
* Assist with internal and external painting and decorating
* Carry out repairs on building fabric
* Carry out basic plumbing repairs around the Stadium and Hotel, in particular repairs to toilets, flush mechanisms, unblocking drainage
* Assist with emergency breakdowns and out of hours call out - Stadium and Hotel.
* Provide support for Event set up and Maintenance cover when required.
* Support all other trades on site when required
* Assist with creating Risk assessments and Safe Systems of Work where possible
* Supervise contractors on site when required
Essential Requirements
* Experience working as a general handyman across all trades
* Experience working within a busy FM Maintenance team
* Certificates in operating machinery, FLT, IPAF, PASMA,
* Valid UK Driving License
* Understanding of Health & Safety
