We're looking for a Junior Merchandiser to join our Product Team.
Our Junior Merchandiser will support the day-to-day running of the department, working alongside the Merchandisers, buyers, and designers to create balanced and exciting ranges for the Adanola Brand. You will help the team ensure we have the right stock, in the right place, at the right time!
About your responsibilities:
* Collaborates with Buyer and Designer to develop and implement a profit-focused strategy.
* Working with Buyer and Designer, deliver a commercial and profitable range that is relevant to the Adanola customer globally, considering OTB/options/pricing.
* Under the guidance of Heads of Product and Senior Merch, sets and delivers key KPIs at category, line, and attribute level, ensuring stocks are managed efficiently to optimize sales while minimizing obsolete stock.
* Responsible for maintaining department forecasting tools and planning documents, highlighting any risk or opportunity versus plan and agreeing next steps with Heads of Product.
* OTB management, manipulating intake at category level. Make proposals for airing/phasing as required to ensure department targets are met.
* Trade department in season, quickly identifying risks and opportunities to sales with proposed solutions.
* Drive team trade meetings, update on performance, and clearly communicate proposed actions to management.
* Refines and improves processes to benefit the department.
* Understand product critical path ensuring merchandising deadlines are met to avoid any delays.
* Build strong strategic supplier partnerships. Ensure regular forecasts are shared.
* Lead, motivate, and develop the team to be high-performing, happy, and successful.
* Work collaboratively when required with cross-functional teams, developing strong working relationships with direct points of contact to positively impact your department and the merchandising function.

* You have experience working in successful Merchandising teams in the fashion industry either as a Junior Merchandiser or Senior Assistant Merchandiser.
* You can highlight problems and inefficiencies, seeking support from Heads of Product to resolve.
* You’re commercially astute but balanced with creativity and brand values.
* You can lead and motivate a team.
* Strong negotiation skills.
