Key Responsibilities:
* Support the delivery of lessons, working closely with teachers to plan and deliver tailored learning activities.
* Lead small group sessions and interventions to boost student progress.
* Cover lessons in the absence of the class teacher, maintaining a positive and productive learning environment.
* Provide 1:1 support to students with additional needs, fostering their academic and personal development.
* Assist with the preparation of resources and the creation of an engaging classroom environment.
* Promote a safe and inclusive atmosphere, supporting the school’s behaviour and safeguarding policies.
Requirements:
* A Level 4 HLTA qualification or equivalent experience.
* A strong understanding of the national curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
* Previous experience working in a school setting, ideally supporting children with diverse learning needs.
* Excellent communication and organizational skills.
* A commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
