The Legal Cashier will work as a part of client account cashiering team, undertaking various cashiering tasks predominantly on the client account. Processing a high volume of Client account payments and receipts Posting Client to Office Transfers i.e taking our costs Running of interest calculations on request by the fee earning teams Processing of any manual cheque requests and seeking signatures for these Processing of daily cheque banking Ad-hoc tasks as needed Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards Recording and remedying of breaches which have been discovered Utilising previous skills and knowledge to look at ways to streamline processes Attending Team and Department meetings and making recommendations Undertake any specific training when required IT Literate Aderant Expert experience if possible Knowledge of Excel, Outlook and MS Office Cashiering background (experience in a busy law firm) Knowledge of SRA Accounts Rules Self-motivated and able to organise their own workload Works well under pressure High level of detail and accuracy Good communication skills Confident in dealing with all levels of internal and external stakeholders At our firm, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion is a priority and at the heart of everything we do.
