WHAT TO EXPECT
The focus of this role will be supporting the defining and executing System Integration & Test process activities as part of the system’s design and validation processes.
You’ll assist with activities to challenge the way we deliver features to our customers and identify future features that will aim to harmonise the different interior functions. Working cross-functionally as a part of an agile team, you’ll actively support the design of the Well-being & Interior Experience features and systems, ensuring each system and feature contributes towards the desired customer needs and vehicle integration requirements.
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities
1. Supporting system requirements analysis, reviews and improvements as well as applying appropriate test automation.
2. Responsible for ensuring that all test cases are robust and adhere to high quality standards.
3. Responsible for preparing and operating a Closed Loop, Hardware in the Loop architecture and framework for use in system function projects involving complete Body and Chassis systems from sensor to actuator.
4. Supporting Rig & Vehicle bookings for the Interior Experiences Features.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
1. Automotive System Integration & Integration Testing experience.
2. Working experience in Systems Engineering “V-Model” specifically requirements-based testing and design verification and validation.
3. Understanding of Systems Engineering tools processes and practices.
4. Relevant experience of building simulation environment - within the automotive industry (dSPACE, Simulink).
5. Positive attitude, and willingness to get involved with tasks across the System Engineering lifecycle.
