Position: Learning Support Assistant
Location: Ringwood
Salary: £76.92 - £95.68 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract: Full-time/Part-time
Are you passionate about helping students reach their full potential? We have an exciting opportunity for a Learning Support Assistant to join a supportive school in Ringwood. This role offers a rewarding chance to work closely with students and support their learning in a positive and inclusive environment.
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a key role in helping students with diverse learning needs, providing them with the individual attention and guidance they need to succeed in their studies.
Responsibilities of the Learning Support Assistant:
* Provide support to students in the classroom to help them complete tasks and engage with the curriculum.
* Offer additional assistance to students who may require help with understanding lessons or completing their work.
* Assist the teacher in implementing learning plans for students with special educational needs (SEN).
* Help students with personal care, if required, in line with school policies.
* Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment by supporting the emotional and academic development of students.
* Work closely with teachers to monitor students’ progress and contribute to assessments.
Requirements of the Learning Support Assistant:
* Experience working with children, particularly in a learning support or teaching assistant role, is desirable.
* Patience, empathy, and the ability to work with students with different learning needs.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
* A flexible and adaptable approach to meet the needs of individual students.
* Eligibility to work in the UK and have an Enhanced DBS on Update Service.
