Job Title: Director Of Projects (Refrigeration) Location: Hybrid Salary : £70,000-£100,000, benefits, company car and Bonus Scheme Department: Refrigeration Projects Job Summary: We are looking for a strategic and results-oriented Project Director with a strong focus on business development to lead our projects portfolio and drive growth through new opportunities. In this role, you will not only oversee project execution but also engage in identifying and securing new business through tendering and proactive market exploration. The ideal candidate will have a blend of project management expertise and business acumen, with proven experience in winning bids and building strong client relationships. Key Responsibilities: Portfolio Oversight: Oversee the entire lifecycle of multiple projects, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and high-quality delivery.Proje ct Planning: Defi ne project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.Budge t Management: Deve lop, monitor, and control budgets, ensuring financial objectives are met.Resou rce Allocation: Coor dinate and allocate resources effectively across projects to optimize productivity and performance.Risk Management: Iden tify and mitigate potential project risks, ensuring minimal disruptions.Stake holder Management: Buil d strong relationships with key stakeholders, keeping them informed of project status and addressing concerns as needed.Team Leadership: Lead and mentor project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.Compl iance & Quality Control: Ensu re all projects adhere to organizational policies, industry regulations, and quality standards.Perfo rmance Reporting: Prov ide regular updates on project progress, financials, and challenges to senior management.Conti nuous Improvement: Iden tify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in project management. Skills & Qualification's: Experience: 15-20 years of experience in project management, preferably with large-scale projects or po rtfolios.Educa tion: Bach elor’s degree in project management, business, engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications (PMP, Prince2) are a plus.Leade rship: Stro ng leadership skills with experience managing and motivating diverse project teams.Strat egic Thinking: Abil ity to see the bigger picture and align projects with company strategy.Finan cial Acumen: Expe rience in budgeting and cost control with a focus on profitability.Commu nication: Exce llent written and verbal communication skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels.Probl em-Solving: Skil led in quickly identifying issues and implementing effective solutions.Organ izational Skills: Stro ng organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects concurrently.
