Their main responsibilities will include managing a team of 3 skilled internal sales engineers along with meeting with local customers weekly to represent their brand. Job title: Team Sales Manager
Perm/Contract: Perm
Location: Bolton
Hours of work: 8.30-5 Mon-Thurs, 8.30-4 Fri (37.5 hours per week)
Job Specification Day to Day:
1. Leading the sales team, giving clear targets for their week, and driving them to achieve these.
2. Carrying out training to the team each week to ensure they are working to their full potential.
3. Spending most days calling and meeting with local customers to promote their brand.
4. Producing quotations and orders and following these up with customers.
5. Monitoring the performance of ERP sales and working with operations to ensure this is followed correctly.
Requirements:
1. The candidate must come from an engineering background in previous roles.
2. Managerial or leadership experience is a must as you will be managing a team of 3. Must be comfortable with leading a team and driving them towards agreed monthly achievements.
3. Must have experience producing quotations and be comfortable guiding their team to do the same.
4. The ability to maintain new & old relationships with clients.
5. Must have the confidence to go and win new business and meet customers onsite.
6. Technically minded with the ability to read mechanical drawings.
Desirable experience:
1. Ideally, the perfect candidate would come from a manufacturing or aftermarket background; however, this is not essential.
2. At least 3 years of sales experience and managing a team.
3. Comfortable delivering training.
4. Tough working candidate who has a get-up-and-go attitude.
5. Enthusiastic and committed individual.
6. Driven to progress within the company.
Salary: £40k
