Logistics Coordinator Supply Chain & Operations

Salary: GBP33,000 - GBP36,000 (DOE) + Annual Bonus + Pension (up to 10% matching)
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM 5:00 PM (Hybrid 1 Day WFH)

Working in a collaborative logistics team, you will play a crucial role in managing the movement of goods, ensuring deliveries are on time, cost-effective, and compliant with all regulations. This role is ideal for someone with strong organisational skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders across a fast-moving supply chain.
What You’ll Be Doing:
* Processing and managing customer orders from start to finish, ensuring accuracy in internal systems.
* Coordinating domestic and international shipments via road, air, and sea freight.
* Ensuring stock availability and proper allocation to meet customer demands.
* Handling customs paperwork and regulatory compliance, liaising with relevant authorities when required.
* Negotiating with suppliers and logistics partners to optimise transport costs and efficiency.
* Managing purchase orders, invoices, and associated documentation for seamless financial processing.
* Liaising with internal teams, suppliers, and external transport providers to ensure smooth operations.
* Monitoring and reporting on supply chain performance, identifying areas for improvement.
* Ensuring data accuracy across ERP systems and maintaining an organised record-keeping process.
* Supporting senior management with logistics insights, reporting, and process enhancement initiatives.
What We’re Looking For:
* At least 2 years experience in logistics, supply chain, or operations coordination.
* Strong knowledge of inventory management and freight movement.
* Confident dealing with customers, suppliers, and logistics providers in a professional setting.
* Ability to prioritise workload effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
* Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive and detail-oriented approach.
* High level of computer literacy, with solid experience using ERP systems (preferably SAP), along with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
* A commercially aware individual with a strong understanding of cost control in supply chain management.
* Excellent numeracy skills with strong attention to detail in reporting and data management.
* A team player with a positive, can-do attitude, happy to assist colleagues when needed.
