Banana Moon Day Nurseries is looking for a passionate and experienced Nursery Manager to lead our dedicated team in providing outstanding care and education for children. As the Nursery Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management of the nursery, ensuring that it meets both regulatory requirements and the high standards upheld by the Banana Moon brand. You will create a nurturing and stimulating environment for children, oversee staff development, and foster strong relationships with families and the local community.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage day-to-day operations of the nursery, including staff management, curriculum implementation, and compliance with health and safety standards.
* Lead and support a team of early years practitioners, promoting their professional development and ensuring a cohesive working environment.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with parents and guardians, promoting open communication about their children’s development and well-being.
* Oversee the planning and delivery of engaging activities that meet the needs of all children, in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
* Ensure safeguarding and welfare requirements are met consistently for all children.
* Maintain accurate records and reports, and conduct regular assessments to monitor the nursery’s performance.

Requirements
* A full and relevant Level 3 qualification or above in Early Years Education
* At least 3 years of proven management experience in a nursery or early years setting
* Thorough understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and current childcare legislation
* Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
* Ability to build positive relationships with children, parents, and staff
* Enhanced DBS check and safeguarding training
* Pediatric First Aid qualification is desirable
