Male Support Worker
Full time / Part Time including sleep ins
Pay: £12ph (£50 per sleep in

We are seeking Male Support Workers to provide personalised care and companionship to a Gentleman in his 40s who lives in his supported living home.
He is someone who values routine, independence, and tactile communication and is looking for someone who has the same values, can support in him maintaining his independence, be patient, strong in nature and enjoy an active life.
What will I be doing?
- Empower Independence: Assist him in maintaining their independence by supporting them in their daily activities in and around their home.
- Outdoor Adventures: Accompanying him on walks and visits to local parks. Encourage exploration and engagement with the community.
- Personal Care: Be comfortable with all aspects of personal care, ensuring the client's well-being and dignity is always upheld. Supporting with medication administration alongside this.
- Routine Matters: Respect and follow his established routine. Their safe space relies on consistency.
- Effective Communication: Although he doesn't communicate with words, he has his own unique ways to express his needs. You'll learn to understand and respond to their cues.
- Confidence: You don't need prior experience, but confidence is key. Be proactive and approachable.
- Strong Character: Motivate and encourage independence while maintaining a compassionate and patient demeanor.
- Team Player: Sometimes you'll work independently, and other times alongside colleagues. Consistency in our approach is crucial.

Shift Patterns
We are looking for flexibility to work on a rota basis and you will be required to work a minimum of 1- sleep in a week.
Shift times:
Early, 8am-2pm
Long days 10am-10pm including sleep in and finish 8am.
