Personal Assistant to the Principal
Location : Rushden, Hertfordshire
Salary: A GBP 29,777 : A GBP 33,024 per annum

The Role
They have an exciting opportunity for a Personal Assistant to the Principal and HR Officer to join the fantastic team at The Ferrers School If you are passionate about making a difference and contributing to the success of young lives thriving in education, this is the job for you. They are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, hardworking individual who possesses strong administration and communication skills to support their Principal, You will provide a solution:based outlook and work proactively to complete multiple tasks within a fast:paced environment.
You will provide a full and comprehensive administrative service to the principal whilst also supporting and encouraging the Academys ethos, objectives, policies, and procedures. Through effective PR, ensure that both parents and the local community have confidence in the Academy and that a positive image is portrayed, both through the local press, social media and as demonstrated by the high:quality material that is provided by the Academy
To be responsible for all personnel duties within the school environment. This will include the oversight of safeguarding for appointing new staff and recruitment. The post holder is responsible for the employee life cycle at school level which includes sick absence, pay, general terms and conditions and providing support to manage low:level HR queries.

Skills and Qualifications
* Have a good educational background, including GCSE or equivalent in English and Maths.
* Strong administration skills, including solution:based outlook on how to resolve tasks.
* Ability to proactively contribute to multiple tasks in a fast:paced environment.
* Possess outstanding communication skills and personal integrity.
* Be able to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
* Be a team player, with a can do, solution focused, attitude.
