Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in welding and fabrication, with the ability to work with various materials, including mild & stainless steel metal up to 8mm.
This role requires mechanical knowledge and proficiency in using both hand and power tools to assemble and fabricate components according to specifications.
Responsibilities
1. Full manufacturing process including fabrication & welding.
2. Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine project specifications.
3. Assemble parts and structures as per design requirements.
4. Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
5. Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet required standards.
6. Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
7. Collaborate with team members to improve processes and efficiency.
Experience
1. Proven experience in welding and fabrication.
2. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot issues as they arise.
3. Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks.
4. Familiarity with various welding techniques, particularly stick welding.
5. Experience using hand tools and power tools in a manufacturing or workshop environment is essential.
Working Hours: Mon - Thurs with a 1400 finish on a Friday. Lots of overtime available, paying 1.5x after 39 hours.
