We are currently recruiting for an Assistant Finance Manager to work for a growing organisation in Derby to recruit. Reporting into the Finance Manager you will be responsible for a completion of management and financial accounts for a smaller subsidiary of the organisation. Applicant will have a minimum of 2 years experience working in a similar role with previous exposure to management accounts, Vat returns and Fixed Assets. Duties include: Revenue recognition with deferred income and accrual calculations Control and input of all month end accruals/prepayments in line time-scales Assist in the group monthly and quarterly reporting for 7 business units Maintaining balance sheet reconciliations Maintaining fixed asset register and calculating depreciation charges Inter-company Reconciliations Purchase Order Accruals and Review VAT returns, reconciliations, and payments Work with external and internal audit as required Assist in annual stock takes and reconciliations If you are looking for a role where you will gain exposure to support you with growth into a Finance Manager for the future this role is for you.
