Teaching Personnel are recruiting a Teaching Assistant to join a school in Thornbury, to support with students with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PLMD). The school is an Outstanding school for boys and girls aged from 2 to 19 with exceptional needs. The school boasts a creative and engaging learning environment, encouraging pupils to explore different ideas and develop skills in a range of contexts.
They are seeking a skilled and creative Teaching Assistant to provide direct support for individual pupils with SEND. You will contribute to meeting pupils' needs and achievement of their EHCP outcomes. As part of the role, you would need to be confident in leading the class in the teacher's absence.
The role would particularly suit candidates with some experience of working with pupils with severe learning disabilities (SLD), profound and multiple learning disabilities (PMLD), and autistic spectrum condition (ASC).

* £13.75 per hour
