What You’ll Do as a People & Culture Business Partner In your role, you’ll collaborate with different people across a range of skillsets. Here’s a flavour of your day-to-day: Strategy Drive the P&C Strategy, ensuring People and Culture plans are aligned with the business strategy culture Driven by Primark’s agreed strategic international expansion aims, define and articulate the P&C business partnering agenda, ensuring initiatives are set up for success with robust governance and clear prioritisation Partner and influence to align the International expansion model with the P&C strategy, enabling teams to achieve strategic objectives whilst increasing engagement and productivity Share best practice, insights and learnings with the P&C Business Partnering team to leverage organisational gains Develop external networks that allow leading edge P&C knowledge and ideas to be shared in the business Proactively identify P&C and OD needs in partnership with the functional leaders and design “people and process” focused solutions to meet needs Support the delivery of organisational change and act as a champion for change in business projects Execute projects with a high degree of complexity, including organisational redesign and other initiatives Partnership Act as key P&C partner for the Franchise partner’s P&C team Collaborate and influence both the Franchise partner’s P&C stakeholders and the Primark COE’s to identify and develop best practice processes that will protect the essence of the Primark brand and culture while working effectively within the Franchise partner’s operating model and ways of working Partner closely with the Franchise partner in the planning and execution of the store opening roadmap. Develop a store P&C blueprint from store opening to BAU with supporting guides and toolkits. Develop trusted and strong relationships across the Primark business Act as a trusted advisor on P&C-related issues, providing guidance on workforce planning, talent management, and organisational effectiveness Build and maintain relationships with P&C COE’s, continuously striving to enhance effectiveness and impact of people programmes for our Franchise partners Work with P&C COE’s to provide expert insight in order to anticipate, mitigate and proactively manage business needs Provide insightful data and proactive solutions to guide data-driven decision making Talent Management Share Primark talent acquisition processes and best practices with the Franchise partner to ensure the attraction and recruitment of talent and protection of the Primark Employer Brand Collaborate with the Franchise Partner to ensure learning and development and leadership programmes are aligned with Primark principles Work with the Franchise partner to develop robust performance management frameworks focused on driving optimum colleague performance and experience. Culture Development Work with the Franchise partner and the Primark internal teams to identify an appropriate framework for the embedding of the Primark Values and behaviours Collaborate with the Franchise partner to implement local initiatives - consistent with Primark’s initiatives - to drive colleague engagement and recognition across franchise locations Collaborate with the Franchise partner in setting up a framework of surveys/listening groups and huddles – consistent with Primark’s initiative - to gather feedback in order to identify areas for improvement Compliance & Policy Development Ensure any relevant new or changing Primark policies and procedures are shared with the Franchise partner and their suite of policies are amended as required Monitor, and support, the Franchise partners’ compliance to required policies and processes Data Analysis and Reporting Define with Franchise partner appropriate P&C metrics, analyse and interpret the data trends, ensuring they drive insight based decision making Compile and monitor all required Primark and regulatory and compliance reports What You’ll Bring Here at Primark, we want everyone to feel valued – so please bring your authentic self to work, of course with some other key experience and abilities for this role in particular: 5 years’ experience working in a fast-paced P&C team as a P&C Business Partner At least 2 years in-store P&C experience with robust experience in new store openings at market level In-depth experience of working and influencing in a large complex organisation, working in a collaborative manner to influence and align multiple internal stakeholders and COEs Comfortable with complexity and ambiguity and confidently finding a new path or solution to problem solve in a new and evolving environment Experience in executing projects effectively Strong knowledge of P&C best practice and talent management principles Proficiency in English at the level C1 Availability to travel abroad Excited?
