Position: Investment Analyst
Salary: Up to £65,000 plus bonus & benefits

About you:
* Ideally hold a Degree in Finance.
* 2 years’ experience in Real Estate Investment Management or Portfolio Management with extensive financial modelling experience.
* Highly motivated, a self-starter and team player with the ability to work independently.
* Exceptional quantitative and analytical skills.
* Ability to communicate clearly, whether written or verbal.
* Proficient with MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
About the role:
* Independently build, maintain and update Excel models, including comprehensive financial analyses.
* Carry out financial analyses and research to contribute to the formulation and evolution of robust business plans and help inform strategic discussion.
* Monitor and assist in valuation using external valuers: coordinate with valuers and facilitate the valuation process, carry out analyses on valuation assumptions and results.
* Prepare monthly and quarterly reports on projects and assist in the annual budget preparation and update cycle.
* Assist on financing activities, including: modelling, preparing presentations, participating in negotiations and assist in execution.
* Assist in drafting investment strategies by carrying out comprehensive market research and analyses.
* Undertake the financial modelling and market research required to underwrite new investment opportunities.
* Effectively contribute and challenge the due diligence assessments/assumptions when underwriting potential acquisitions.
* Prepare investment memos and recommendations with findings from financial analyses, modelling, research and due diligence.
