Academics are currently looking for a Science Teacher for a permanent role we have available in an Independent school based in Richmond. Academics are partnered with a vibrant and supportive school, dedicated to nurturing the next generation of pupils. The role involves teaching students across Year 1 to Year 7 the Science curriculum and ensuring they have a full understanding of the content across the subject.

£42,535-£55,145
Responsibilities:
1. Plan, deliver, and assess engaging Science lessons across Year 1 to Year 7.
2. Differentiating teaching to meet the needs of all learners, ensuring inclusive and accessible lessons.
3. Create a stimulating classroom environment that encourages scientific inquiry and curiosity.
4. Monitor and track student progress, providing timely feedback and support.
5. Contribute to the development of the Science curriculum, ensuring it meets the needs of all learners.
6. Participate in the wider school community, including extracurricular activities and school events.
7. Collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and carers to support student progress.
The Ideal Candidate:
1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
2. Experience teaching Science, with a strong understanding of the curriculum.
3. Passionate about Science and inspiring students to achieve their best.
4. Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage and motivate students.
5. Excellent communication skills and a team player.
6. A commitment to your own professional development and continuous improvement.
