The role of a Young Persons Personal Advisor (known as a PA) is to provide support, advice and guidance to promote the capacity of each young person to develop the skills necessary to live independently and thrive in their adulthood. PAs provide an individually-tailored, outcome-focussed service to children and young people who are legally defined as a care leaver, based on working with them to assess and analyse their needs and goals and therefore develop with them planning for next steps. Through building their confidence, the service works to empower and enable our care leavers to realise their full potential and become successful in all aspects of their lives. Candidates must be prepared to work in and around this area. The role is a hybrid role which means there will be a mixture of office and home working, depending on the needs of the service.
