The candidate should have excellent customer service skills and deal with patients in a professional and friendly manner. You must have the ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure.
You will provide a confident professional service to all patients and their carers, whilst supporting them throughout their pathway of care. You must adhere to our Policies and Procedures at all times.
Excellent IT and communication skills are required. In-house training will be provided for the usage of our systems.
It is essential that applicants are flexible where necessary between 8:00 am - 6:30 pm to cover holidays/absence.
Duties include working on a busy reception desk, answering telephones – booking appointments and dealing with queries from patients and other healthcare providers, including care navigation, Emis Web, DOCMAN10, repeat prescriptions, referrals, and other additional ad hoc duties.
You will be a team player and will be able to work in a fast-paced environment where you will have to multi-task. Ideally, we are looking for someone with previous GP reception/admin experience, but will also consider candidates from similar backgrounds.
You will be required to undertake a DBS check.
Schedule: 25+ hours per week
* Monday to Friday 08:00 am - 6:30 pm
