You will be a vital link in maintaining positive relationships with a wide range of interests across Scotland including politicians, civil servants, NGOs and community groups. The role will also work closely with the media relations team to build Asda’s profile with the Scottish media. You will report to the Head of Corporate Affairs UK (based in NI and Leeds). You will represent the business on a range of issues, working with colleagues in government affairs, property, media relations, community, local sourcing, legal and importantly with local store operations. The role will be based primarily in Edinburgh (flexible options). There will be a requirement for regular travel to Leeds (approx. 2 days per month). There will also be regular travel across Scotland/UK as required to attend meetings, store visits, etc. “Everything about Asda” We are a values-led organisation.
