We are excited to announce an excellent opportunity to join our Trauma & Orthopaedic team as an Operations Assistant.
This is a dynamic and varied dual role, offering the chance to combine operational responsibilities with line management of a dedicated administrative team. The role is integral to ensuring the smooth running of our business unit, supporting both the operational and administrative functions to provide outstanding patient care and service delivery.
The post holder will play a key part in managing and coordinating essential operations while also overseeing the efficiency and performance of the admin team. If you are an enthusiastic and supportive individual with a passion for improving operational efficiency and have strong management skills, we would love to hear from you.
• Previous staff management is strongly desirable, but training can be provided on the job.
• Previous operational knowledge of RTT and key KPI’s is desirable.
• Flexible approach to ways of working and a positive can do attitude.
• Ability to work independently problem solving but as part of a wider team.
• Provide an effective channel of communication for building and maintaining relationships with all staff and key stakeholders with the areas of responsibility, using appropriate methods.
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal. The post holder will be expected to communicate complex and sensitive issues.
• To provide administrative support to the business unit such as supporting rota management, requesting staffing and the setup of clinics.
• Design and set up spread sheets.
