Ward 32 is an acute cardiology ward with a 7 bed CCU and also a 7 bed day ward with staff rotation between the areas.
Main duties of the job
You will need to complete the care certificate programme and will be supported to do so.
Health Care Assistants (HCA) are required to work within the multidisciplinary team ensuring the department is a safe, clean and welcoming place for patients, visitors and staff.
Day to day tasks will primarily include supporting with a range of personal care activities and supporting individual patient needs during their hospital admission and promoting the physical and emotional well-being of the individuals under their care.

2. Completion of the Care Certificate theory and practice standards within 12 weeks of commencing employment with the Trust
Desirable
1. Experience working in a clinical environment
2. Experience working in the NHS
