An exciting opportunity is now available for an Accounts Semi Senior to join a growing and modern accountancy firm in Basingstoke.
This role will help manage a shared portfolio of clients, preparing year-end accounts, VAT returns, and the associated corporation tax.
In this role, you will receive full study support (if required) and a huge amount of support and assistance to allow you to progress through to Client Manager and beyond.

Requirements:
* A minimum of 3+ years’ recent experience working within a UK accountancy practice is essential.
* Ideally, you will be at least part qualified through ACCA/ACA, although AAT qualified candidates who are looking to start the ACCA/ACA will also be considered.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the confidence to work closely with clients.
* Experience preparing year-end accounts, VAT, and corporation tax.
* Recent experience working in a similar UK-based accountancy firm.
* Full eligibility to work in the UK.
Duties:
* Assist with the management of a portfolio of varied accounts clients.
* Prepare year-end accounts, VAT, and corporation tax as well as general client bookkeeping.
* Liaise with clients directly to answer financial queries and review accounts.
