About the hospital;
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a motivated and experienced Pharmacy Manager to join a highly reputable and dynamic private hospital based on the outskirts of Crawley, West Sussex. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Clinical Pharmacist to work as a Pharmacy Manager as part of their friendly and motivated pharmacy team. The hospital undertakes a range of procedures including orthopaedic, urological, cosmetic, spinal, gynaecological and general surgical procedures. The Pharmacy team are passionate about the high-quality care they provide and we are looking for a driven Pharmacy Manager to lead the team on a permanent basis.
Duties and responsibilities
You will be working as a Pharmacy Manager and will be responsible for:
8. Provision of an exemplary pharmacy service in accordance with current legislation, clinical requirements and accepted professional and ethical standards
9. Provide advice and support to consultants, other clinicals and patients
10. Ensuring the safe, appropriate and cost-effective use of medicines
11. Providing leadership to the Pharmacy team including motivating and effectively managing the staff
12. Advising on the safe management of medicines to the hospitals and its departments
13. Lead on quality improvement projects and audit within pharmacy
Who we’re looking for
14. Be GPHC registered – your pin must not have any restrictions or conditions
15. Eligibility to live and work in the UK
16. At least 5 years UK experience post-graduation within a hospital setting
17. Experience of clinical leadership is essential
18. Clinical diploma desirable
19. Ability to train and motivate staff
