Job overview
We are looking to appoint enthusiastic and highly motivated team players to join an existing Estates & Facilities team.
We are looking for candidates who can demonstrate excellent written and oral communication skills as well as having a flexible attitude; please also see job description for competencies.
Main duties of the job
The Estates and Facilities department is looking to recruit a number of highly motivated, enthusiastic, and hardworking individuals to join the bank Facilities team in delivering excellent environments for Healthcare in our units.
Working either on your own or as part of a team, you will maintain high standards of cleaning. You will need to be able to provide a customer-focused service and be of a friendly and helpful nature. Hours of work vary in each unit but are typically part-time working in either the morning, afternoon, or evening and weekends.
Our bank services offer you the opportunity to work the hours and days that fit around you and your other commitments whilst still providing a friendly and committed team to work within. All bank workers are paid on a weekly basis.
To work in our in-patient areas – West Essex.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities
To participate in the provision of the in-house FM services to a specified area within the Trust, which may include in-patient areas and retail outlets: The FM services comprise of cleaning, catering, portering, bed making, and laundering services; however, some of these services are unit-specific.
Therefore, sections of the job description may not be relevant to all staff and will be identified where appropriate but are not exhaustive. You must be aware of the important part you play in maintaining the environment to an excellent standard.
You must also be aware that your work will involve working alongside patients and occasionally interacting with them as you carry out your duties outlined below.
You will be working as part of the Facilities Team and are expected to have a flexible approach to your duties.
You will be working as a valued member of the Estates & Facilities Management Team.

Education/Qualifications
* Understanding of cleanliness and good hygiene practices.
* Understanding of the responsibilities relating to H&S at work.
Skills/experience
* Demonstrate the ability to work on your own or in a team.
