Are you an experienced manager who has a track record of motivating and leading a team, and striving to make continuous improvements to service delivery? We are looking for a highly organised team manager to support and develop the council’s customer services team and oversee the day-to-day delivery of a high quality service to customers in the Harborough district. The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator who can drive a high performing culture and build strong and effective working relationships with council service areas. You will have a proactive and flexible approach to problem solving and be able to work on your own initiative. The postholder will also take ownership, manage and deal with customer enquiries and complaints which are beyond the scope of the customer service advisors through to resolution. The ability to multitask and be able to prioritise workloads in a pressured environment is essential, as is a good standard of IT literacy. The postholder will mainly be based in our office in Market Harborough, and will be able to work from home occasionally in line with business needs.
