YOUR DAY TO DAY
* You will work closely with the compliance team and report to the head of department, ensuring the firm meets SRA and Lexcel standards. Your duties will include submitting complaints data to the SRA, monitoring negligence claims, and ensuring staff are informed about regulatory requirements.
* You’ll manage audits, assess and improve compliance procedures, and develop new policies, reports, and training.
* Additionally, you’ll track legal changes, monitor risks, conduct assessments, and ensure compliance with money laundering, data protection, SRA Accounts Rules, and the Bribery Act.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
* Qualified solicitor or equivalent with regulatory background.
* Experience working in Compliance
* Proficient IT skills and use of Microsoft office.
