Role Overview:
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented People Advisor to join our growing team. In this role, you will provide essential support to the People Team, assist in HR and Payroll administration, and offer vital assistance to the Managing Director. This is a key role to help ensure smooth operations across HR functions and office management, playing a critical part in the day-to-day workings of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
Human Resources:
* Assist with daily People functions and ensure accurate data and reporting of HR records.
* Manage employee files, surveys, and exit interviews, ensuring all records are up-to-date on the S4 system.
* Support employee relations matters and assist in investigations when needed.
* Administer the Recognition & Benefits programme and manage internal communications.
* Prepare and distribute offer letters, contracts, and starter packs.
* Help with payroll processing and liaise with our payroll provider and finance team to ensure smooth payroll cycles.
Office & Administrative Support:
* Maintain a positive office environment and assist with office space management and coordination of maintenance needs.
* Provide administrative and personal support to the Managing Director, including calendar management and correspondence.
Additional Responsibilities:
* Assist with team-building activities, events, and People Campaigns.
* Serve as the first point of contact for HR systems support.
* Complete any ad hoc duties as required by the company.
Skills & Experience:
Essential:
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
* Experience using design programs such as Canva.
* Knowledge of LinkedIn for employer branding initiatives.
Desirable:
* Background in hospitality or retail service is a plus.
