Key job responsibilities
An engineering internship in Amazon will provide you with an unforgettable experience in a dynamic and international environment. Our internships serve as an educational experience, where you will put your skills and bias for action to the test, completing a project that will support your learning in the engineering field.
The engineering team in Amazon maintains and optimizes all technologies in the Global Amazon Warehouse & Delivery Network. You will work on a project with real impact within Amazon, which could include:
1. Design, build, improve, and innovate order fulfilment infrastructure throughout the large-scale supply chain network.
2. Manage, design, and implement small to medium scope integrated automation projects.
3. Support within the EU Controls network on a project to enhance the capability to monitor metrics and provide visualization and data to internal customers.
4. Develop alongside global teams to support the installation and commission of new equipment.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
* Currently in your penultimate or final year and working towards a university degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Automation, Industrial or Software), or a STEM subject.
* Eligible to complete a full-time internship of 3-6 months.
* Highly proficient in English (Common European Framework of Reference C1).
* Microsoft Office proficient, including strong proficiency in Excel.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
* Demonstrated curiosity, proactivity, and willingness to take on challenges.
* Experience with CAD software (AutoCAD, REVIT, BIM 360, etc.).
* Understanding of ISO 13849 & 62061.
