I am currently recruiting for Special Educational Teaching Assistants in schools across Birmingham that are seeking to appoint TAs for their school. There are a range of roles and needs that we are looking to fill, so these will be discussed on a phone call, but the general role will be to support a class teacher or an individual child to provide an enabling environment for the children.
Schools focus more on personal characteristics rather than qualifications, such as being caring and patient. However, there are still other requirements, including:
1. DBS on the Update Service OR permission for us to process one for you
2. Ability to obtain references to cover the last two years (If you have been out of employment for the past two years or more, you will still need to have a previous referenceable role)
3. Potentially confidence with personal care
