Fortitude Residential Childcare Ltd is here to provide a service to government local authorities in the care of vulnerable children and young people who are not able to live in their family homes for many reasons. The company has been established by a small group of individuals whose combined experiences and faiths have joined a partnership to offer the best care our children of today deserve. Responsibilities:
* Manage and oversee the daily operations of an Ofsted registered children's home
* Develop and implement care plans for children in accordance with their individual needs
* Provide oversight of the direct care and support to children, including assistance with activities of daily living
* Create a safe and nurturing environment for children, promoting their physical, emotional, and social well-being
* Collaborate with families, healthcare professionals, and other team members to ensure comprehensive care for children
* Maintain accurate records and documentation related to children's care and progress
* Ensure compliance with all regulatory guidelines and standards for registered children's facilities
Experience:
* Minimum of 2 years of experience in Ofsted registered residential children's home which includes at least 1 year in a senior supervisory role (refer to: Regulation 28 - The Childrens Home Regulations England 2015 and Quality Standards)
* Strong knowledge of care practices and protocols for children with diverse needs
* Experience in social, emotional and mental health difficulties in children and young people
* Proven leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a team
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with children, families, staff members and external agencies
Minimum Requirements:
* Do you hold a Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Children and Young People's workforce in Residential Childcare?
* Do you hold Level 5 or equivalent qualification in Leadership and Management?
* Diploma of Higher Education (required)
* Residential Childcare: 2 years (required)
* Driving Licence (required)
* Work authorisation: United Kingdom (required)
Work Location: Hybrid remote in Poulton le Fylde

Pay: Up to £48,500.00 per year
