The role of the Institutional Services Executive is to provide exceptional relationship management and support to our Institutional clients, taking ownership of providing high calibre services and ensuring a positive experience.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Proactively respond to and manage inbound broker queries professionally and efficiently;
2. Perform account and back office functions for institutional customers;
3. Escalate unresolved issues to line manager, 2nd Line IT support, Business Operations and Relationship Managers as appropriate in order to support Institutional platforms, APIs, Grey-label & White-label infrastructure;
4. Assist in the management of bespoke customer profiling and ensure adherence to TCF protocols in communication of cost disclosure documents and other legal agreements;
5. Provide proactive and timely support for the Institutional on-boarding process;
6. Assist in accurate record keeping & invoicing for the management of market data provision to 3rd party institutions;
7. Accurate processing of customer payments and bank detail record keeping with adherence to AML, data protection and security procedures;
8. Monitor competitor companies within related markets and apply insights to help CMC continuously improve its own offering;
9. Assist Relationships Managers with regular updates on business as usual successes and failures;
10. Build rapport with Institutional clients and assist Relationship Managers with client entertainment and education as required;
11. Act as a brand ambassador in all client interactions;
12. Assist Relationship Managers and Institutional Sales Team with adhoc projects including the production of reports;
13. Maintain personal/professional development to meet the changing demands of the role, including all relevant regulatory and legislative training;
14. When dealing with all customers, clients or colleagues ensure that we provide a clear, fair and consistent high quality service that presents a professional and positive image of CMC Markets Connect;
15. Take all reasonable steps to ensure appropriate confidentiality;
16. Undertake such other duties, training and/or hours of work as may be reasonably required and which are consistent with the general level of responsibility of this role.
KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
1. Undergraduate degree in business, economics or finance (advantageous);
2. Demonstrates passion and enthusiasm for our products and services;
3. Operates with integrity and a highly client centric mind-set;
4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, fluency in one or more European languages desirable;
5. Ability to work effectively as part of a team;
6. Good knowledge of Word and Excel and CRM systems (advantageous);
7. Intermediate knowledge/experience of financial markets;
8. Knowledge of trading platforms such as MT4 (advantageous);
9. Understanding of IRESS platform (advantageous).
