SRG is working with a leading manufacturer of personal care products, based in Nottinghamshire, who have a fantastic company culture. They are now looking for a Global Regulatory Manager who would be responsible for all aspects of product regulatory compliance for cosmetic and personal care brands sold regionally in EMEA and APAC, ensure delivery of regulatory activities across all distribution channels and growth and management of an established team. This role would suit candidates with several years' experience within the cosmetics and personal care industry.
Working Hours: Monday to Friday - 37.5 Hours a week 25 days holiday + 8 Bank holidays
Role / Description:
1. Lead and manage a team of five, fostering a collaborative and motivated work environment.
2. Develop and implement regulatory strategies to support the successful launch of products in EMEA and APAC regions.
3. Ensure compliance with cosmetics regulations, including CLP, REACH, PETA/Leaping Bunny, SDS, PIFs, artworks and Dossiers.
4. Oversee all aspects of product regulatory compliance for brands sold regionally in EMEA and APAC.
5. Build strong partnerships with cross-functional technical and non-technical stakeholders.
6. Develop processes to ensure efficiency and timely delivery of regulatory activities across all distribution channels.
7. Represent and protect company brands and products in trade bodies and regional partnerships.
8. Maintain tools and data management systems to ensure compliance and provide product dossiers for market approval.
Requirements:
1. 8+ years of experience in cosmetics regulations and leadership.
2. Experience leading, managing and developing a team.
3. Recent experience in managing regulatory activities for global markets, particularly EMEA and APAC.
4. Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and processes in the cosmetics industry.
5. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
6. Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and partners.
7. Be available to work onsite 5 days a week.
