We’re seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Manufacturing Project Lead to support operations at one of our client’s facilities on a fixed-term basis. In this role, you will lead critical manufacturing initiatives, driving process optimization, product quality improvements, and operational efficiency. As the project lead, you will be responsible for coordinating cross-functional teams, managing contractor activities on-site, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and to specification. Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead manufacturing-related projects, ensuring clear timelines, budget adherence, and cross-functional alignment.
2. Design and document process layouts to optimize manufacturing workflows.
3. Extract and analyze process-specific details from standards to create precise supplier requirements.
4. Collaborate with the Project Manager to oversee and coordinate contractor activities on-site.
5. Develop clear and comprehensive Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all project-related processes.
What We’re Looking For:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
2. Proven experience acting as a project lead, ideally within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
3. Strong project coordination skills, particularly in managing on-site contractors and technical teams.
4. Ability to interpret and apply industry process standards effectively.
5. Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma.
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
8. Proficiency in AutoCAD or Fusion 360 for basic design tasks.
9. Familiarity with CNC machining and G Code.
This role is initially for a fixed period of six months with the potential to extend for another six months.
