Administrative Officers carry out a variety of general administrative duties to progress cases through the court or provide support to other functions within the Scottish Courts and Tribunals Service. Greenock Sheriff Court are looking for a full time staff member to join them on a fixed term basis until the end of March 2026.
The Key Responsibilities
To undertake a number of general administrative duties including:
• Creating and updating records on our in-house computer system and data input
• Producing and processing court documents for issuing
• Preparing files for court hearings
• General photocopying and filing
• Attending at 9.30 am hearings when required
• Deals with customer queries via telephone, email and public counter and assists with duties as allocated by supervisors and to deliver a high quality service to all customers in line with the Courts Charter.
• Accounting for monies in accordance with financial guidance taking payments
• Dealing with numerical calculations
• Deal with correspondence/enquires from justice partners and solicitor
• Assists colleagues as and when requested
• Complies with GDPR requirements in regards to confidentiality

Interviews will be held Friday 30 May at Greenock Sheriff Court.
