Job Title: KS2 SEN Outreach Tutor Location: England, Greater London, Tottenham Job Type: Temporary, Part-Time Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £20 - £30 Per hour Job Duties: The KS2 SEN Outreach Tutor will be responsible for providing targeted support and assistance to Key Stage 2 students with Special Educational Needs (SEN). Duties include implementing individualised education plans, delivering tailored lessons to meet specific learning needs, monitoring progress, and collaborating with teachers and parents to ensure a holistic approach to education. Required Qualifications: - Recognised teaching qualification - Experience working with SEN students - Knowledge of the UK educational system - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Education: Bachelor's degree in Education or related field Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in teaching or tutoring SEN students Knowledge and Skills: - Understanding of SEN strategies and interventions - Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual learning styles - Strong problem-solving skills - Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite Preferred Qualifications: - Specialisation in SEN education - Additional training in specific learning difficulties - Experience in conducting assessments and creating educational resources Working Conditions: The role of KS2 SEN Outreach Tutor is part-time and temporary, requiring flexibility in working hours. The position may involve travel to different locations within Greater London to deliver outreach support. The tutor will work closely with school staff, parents, and external agencies to facilitate the educational development of SEN students.
