Job Title: Process Excellence Lead
Location: South Coast- You can be based in one of our offices across the Southern Water region - Chatham, Horsham, Falmer, Durrington, Otterbourne or Hastings.
Hybrid- 3 office/ site and 2 WFH- It is essential for you to have a driving
licence due to site visit requirements.
Work type: Permanent
Hours: 37 hours per week
Salary: Up to £40,000 per annum depending on your skills and experience
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Process Excellence Lead to join our Water Networks and Customer team,delivering the efficient and effective running of process excellence within Water Networks for Southern Water. In this highly empowering role, your focus will be optimizing and streamlining existing processes in operations, playing a pivotal role in enhancing efficiency and reducing costs, improving overall operational performance and delivering £800K fine avoidance per annum.
Reporting to the Process Excellence Manager, you will be working closely with the Performance Analyst within the team to effectively scope, identify and quantify performance opportunities as part of your passion to working towards improving our current and future processes. You will support the team in benefit quantification, tracking, data analysis, preparing business process maps and models and sharing best practices across the team and wider business. Your skills in demonstrating a high degree of coaching/mentoring and influencing skills to help drive operational performance improvements and embed positive, sustainable change is key to this role.
To be successful in this role, you will have a background in Water Operations or asimilar industry,with a good knowledge and understanding of process change and continuous improvement methodologies with Lean Six Sigma or relevant alternatives. You will bePassionate in delivering improvements to current and future projects, usingyour experience in coaching and mentoring.With your proven analytical and problem-solving skills, you will be able to engage, influence and motivate our internal teams and where needed, challenge thestatus quo with your creative thinking ability!
