BILLING ADMINISTRATOR

The Premium Billing Administrator is responsible for managing a portfolio of clients, ensuring that we understand their invoicing needs and the timely and accurate issuing of invoices. With our drive to be customer-centric, a large part of the role is to help our clients understand what we have invoiced them as well as investigating any issues.
Main Duties / Responsibilities:
1. Review and set up groups within our administration and billing system
2. Invoice clients in accordance with the agreed billing frequency
3. This may involve an element of creating manual invoices
4. Engage with clients to build relationships and educate
5. Investigate any queries with invoices, working across departments
6. Provide reports on invoicing, commissions, credit control as required
7. Follow up and report on outstanding premiums in line with credit control procedures
8. Ensure accurate and timely settlement of commission due to brokers
9. Ensure all legal, compliance, and internal procedures are followed
10. Proactively manage workload to remain within turnaround times
11. Maintain accurate files for each client in respect of related products, coverage, and contacts
Skills and Experience Required:
1. Strong interpersonal skills with excellent written/verbal communication skills
2. 1-2 years invoicing/billing/administration experience preferred
3. Educated to Higher Grade standard (Mathematics and English) preferred
4. PC literate - Solid knowledge of IT packages including Excel and Word
5. Must have excellent numeric and analytic skills
6. Must have excellent problem-solving abilities
7. Ability to work under own initiative and organize, prioritize, and manage own workload
8. Attention to detail, with a high level of accuracy
9. Ability to work under pressure
10. Customer-focused with the ability to identify customer needs
This is a full-time, permanent role with immediate start dates. You will be working only 35 hours per week on a hybrid working model after training.
