About the role (External)
Who are we?
We manage, maintain, and renew Lifts and Escalators (L&E) assets on behalf of our customer, the region. The quality and availability of L&E is critical to customer experience at our relevant stations. We also manage the mandatory inspections to guarantee compliance of L&E assets across the network.

2. We deliver products to meet the requirements of our customer.
3. We introduce assets which have an optimised whole life cost based on required availability using market competition to deliver proven innovation.
4. We provide the best availability of our assets when it is needed, aligned to demand.
5. We deliver all mandatory and supplementary inspections within timescales, stored for accessibility, ready for when it is needed.
6. We employ an asset management approach ISO55001 approach to make sure the demand is supported by quality spares when they are needed, skills and ability of the teams aligned to technology and provide innovation only when it adds value to the activity
Support the team and the delivery of lifts and escalators maintenance and project work to standards and within agreed resource levels.
Accountabilities
7. Support the team in the delivery of lifts and escalators maintenance and project work to achieve business and functional objectives and meet key performance measures.
8. Assist in monitoring and maintaining all safety requirements relating to the delivery of lifts and escalators maintenance and project works are discharged by contractors.
9. Provide information to update systems, databases and records.
10. Assist in the measurement and evaluation of the commercial value of payments, monitoring the correct certification of works prior to authorisation in accordance with contractual obligations.
11. Monitor and report programme and progress in accordance with reporting systems and guidelines.
12. Monitor contractor performance indicators and provide periodic progress reports.
13. Maintain that all work package plans are supplied to agreed timescales.
14. Maintain that all work and safety records are completed by the contractor, and properly retained.
