SENIOR RAILWAY SIGNALLING SYSTEMS ENGINEER - LONDON - 3 MONTHS - £545 - £625 PER DAY
ARM are working with a major railway company and we are seeking an experienced Senior Railway Signalling Systems Engineer to join the team in London on a contract basis.
About You:
You will be a degree educated engineer with significant experience within Signalling. Your experience will be either design based or systems architecture with railway signalling systems. You will have an understanding of systems such as interlocking, RBC, or train detection. You could be a Design CRE or have experience of signalling principles' design.
What you will be doing:
This position will see you working with the engineering team to develop and design a new command, control, and signalling systems package. You will work with their supplier to help develop the system that will ultimately be delivered to the programme and help agree on the trade-offs against the initial requirement.
This position will be based from the office in London and will see you working in the office 2 days a week and from home 3 days a week. The contract is offered as a 3 month contract but may extend.
What you can expect in return:
The rate for this position is between £545 and £625 per day (Umbrella) and the position has been deemed inside IR35, as you will be providing interim support while they recruit a permanent head into the role.
We can only consider those eligible to work in the UK for this position. As part of the compliance process, a DBS check and other checks for a BPSS will be requested and needed for this position.
