Ontic, a leading licensor and manufacturer of complex engineering parts for the global aerospace and defence industries, are now recruiting for an HRBP to join our MRO Europe business where you'll work strategically and act as a key member of the senior leadership to drive organisation success. This role will be based at our newly created Ontic Tewkesbury site but travel between all of our Gloucestershire sites should be expected. The Role: In this key leadership role, you’ll define, develop and implement talent strategies and solutions tailored to the site, ensuring alignment with the Global HR Operating model. You will collaborate with the HR Centres of Expertise to deliver consistent and effective HR services, including performance management, organisational design, employee relations, benefits and compensation, talent acquisition, talent management, training, compliance, equality and diversity About you: At Ontic, our culture is integral to making sure we enjoy our work and deliver for our customers. As a key partner to the Site Leadership Team, you will develop strategic workforce plans, manage headcount budgets, and build a strong talent pipeline through effective talent assessments, succession planning, and collaboration with Learning & Development. You will drive talent acquisition initiatives, ensuring successful early careers programs and a positive candidate experience. Managing employee relations, you will engage with external employee bodies, mediate workplace conflicts, and support a positive working culture while mitigating risks. You will champion Ontic’s values by leading engagement initiatives, supporting leaders in action planning, and fostering an inclusive, ethical workplace. Ensuring compliance with HR policies, local employment laws, and industry regulations, you will proactively manage risk and support managers in governance and adherence. You will oversee performance management, including talent reviews and succession planning, while driving talent development initiatives aligned with business priorities. In collaboration with Learning & Development, you will tailor and implement growth programs, deliver local training, and optimise learning resources. You will work with Compensation & Benefits to ensure competitive and compliant reward packages that support talent attraction and retention. Supporting site leadership, you will oversee budgeting, headcount, and training investments, leveraging data-driven insights to drive performance. Additionally, you will lead change initiatives, ensuring a smooth employee experience as the business evolves. Experience of working in a unionised environment would be an advantage.
