Job Overview
We are looking for a dedicated and creative Community Coordinator (12 Month FTC) who will support the Software Communities organisation. The ideal candidate will bring strong detail oriented, execution and organisational skills to help drive the impact of Arm in the Software community.
Responsibilities:
* The position reports to the Sr. Director Software Communities. The position has working relationships with, but not limited: Software Engineering groups, Global Event Teams, Enterprise Marketing, Legal, Procurement, Finance, Business Line Groups, IT, as well as external service providers.
* Responsible for coordinating activities within the Open Source Office and supporting various aspects of events (including industry trade shows, special events and conferences) and multifaceted projects.
* Some knowledge in project management is highly helpful
* Working with globally dispersed teams, engaging engineering leas to drive Arm’s Open Source presence at a variety of events from large commercial to grass root community
Required Skills and Experience:
* Experience working in a fast-paced environment
* Exceptional project and time management skills – highly organised, detail focused, accountable with the ability to handle stress and last-minute, urgent requests
* Proactive and creative thinker, problem solver that is able to remain calm under pressure
* Consultative approach to questions, concerns and issues
* Great teammate but able to work with minimum supervision
“Nice to Have” Skills and Experience:
* Experience in at least one of project management, software engineering, legal, events management
* Outstanding communication skills; experience developing strong working relationships
* Ability to interface seamlessly with a global, diverse team (strong collaboration skills, culturally sensitive, can adjusts communication style to various audiences)
