Perrys MG Huddersfield Service Supervisor
Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:30pm (Saturday mornings rota 1 in 3)

Service Supervisor Role:
1. You will ensure that we deliver the best customer experience by ensuring the team are organised and prepared for arriving customer appointments.
2. You will act as a point of escalation for customer issues as required.
3. To drive and deliver strong retail service.
4. Leading a team of Aftersales Advisors including providing training and coaching, identifying any learning and/or development opportunities.
5. Completing regular 1-2-1’s delivering effective feedback.
6. Providing support for the Service Centre in the absence of Service Manager, if required.
7. Weekly checking of a sample of job cards completed by Technicians including accurate technician write up, invoice accuracy, set up correct labour times.
8. Supporting the Aftersales Advisors and the Service Manager with reducing costs.
9. Managing loan vehicles as Service Supervisor.
10. Maintaining accurate records of customer contact using the complaints system and managing outstanding issues that require resolution in line with the Company’s customer complaints procedure, escalating customer concerns where required.
11. Ensuring that job cards are raised accurately with a full description entered for the required diagnosis/work.
12. Ensuring all customers receive regular, proactive and accurate updates.
Service Supervisor Requirement:
1. The right individual must have previous motor trade experience. We may consider someone from an independent garage who can show the knowledge, confidence, and driven manner.
2. Have a steady work history.
3. At least 2 years’ experience working within the motor trade/car dealership as a Service Advisor or Service Supervisor.
4. Pinnacle or Kerridge experience is preferable but not essential. Having experience with some sort of dealership system.
5. Looking for a confident, friendly, and professional individual with a strong customer service background.
